ad blocking firefox plugin
BemusedI don't know how many of you actually read my nonsensical journal entries so I hope that this one actually helps someone.
I most recently found out about a plugin you can get for firefox that will block almost all of those annoying , bandwidth sucking animated ads that pop up on most web pages. this is especially handy if you're on dialup. you just go to "Tools", click on "addons" and search "Flashblocker". This will work on Macs as well (from what I'm told).
I hope this random journal helps someone.
