What I liked the most of the series where the huge discrepances between our world and the worlds shown, yet their inhabitants being totally used to it.

Especially funny to see the reactions, if the Sliders told them of their world and they couldn't believe it.

"why would you lock your doors?"

"young people today read too much, you should be watching more TV!"

and stuff like that,
lol @ the world of lawyers, where even in order to eat fast food, you needed to fill out forms and hand in your healthy-insurance-card and what-not.

SPARTANS! TONIGHT, WE DINE... IN ... wait, I must fill in this form first, okay here we go, no wait, they need my health-insurance number, eh, okay, now we're ready, TONIGHT, WE DINE, IN HELL!

An old Lady sued Rembrandt for accidently walking into her on the street!

Gladly, the Sliders could escape just after that!

The action part of the show, though, is less interesting for me;
the Kromaggs thing was cool in the first episode, but got boring pretty quickly...

yep, my friend Mick and I basically used the d20 system and then put together the rest of the stuff.

I agree though they drove the kromagg thing into the ground.
